peace
Instead of fear
The classic answer to the question “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” is “practice, practice, practice”.
To practice peace is to practice nonviolence. We live in a culture of violence where division, attack and defense have become normalized, accepting the unacceptable. To live nonviolently is to change our perception of the world and all people. To be actively nonviolent is to become courageous in opposing violence in all its forms.
Our very lives are determined by our thoughts. In a world gone mad we can choose to be sane. To practice peace is to redirect disturbing thoughts realizing that you have the power to see things differently, or you can dismiss offending ideas, letting them pass through without becoming stuck in your head. Our behavior follows. It works, and it takes practice, practice, practice.
This website is not commercial (.com), nor an organization (.org), but rather a network (.net) bringing together resources and people for whom nonviolence, love, forgiveness, compassion, and peace is the unifying factor.
Peace is rarely denied to the peaceful
